For me, it was “Catch A Falling Star”, by Perry Como on the US Charts, and “Magic Moments”, also by Perry Como, in the UK. Kinda dates me, doesn’t it?
The day I graduated high school, the No. 1 song in the US was “Love Hangover”, by Diana Ross.
The day my son was born: “The One That You Love”, by Air Supply. And my daughter’s birthday: “Footloose”, by Kenny Loggins.
